How do I find the Percentage saved if the receipt doesn't say?

I have asked that same question.  How do I find how much I saved in my shopping trip if the receipt doesn't say?  Well here's your answer.

$226.26 Saved + $19.25 OOP (out of pocket) = $245.51 [Total Spent]

So this can be tricky only if you make it.

$226.26 Saved (/) DIVIDED BY Total Spent $245.51 = 92%

Here's a perfect example: Publix does not state how much you saved on a trip however it does say YOUR SAVINGS AT PUBLIX IS...

Here we go My savings at Publix was: $28.81 + $2.96 = $31.77   Then I take $28.81/$31.77 = 0.906830343... So move the decimal to the right two places which makes it 90.68% or 91%.  :D
